You have little time to make dinner, and you have guests? Here is an idea for a pasta sauce that is very easy to make, needs a short time and only a few ingredients. Every time I make it, it is a big success! (and it’s my husband’s favorite…)
You can prepare the sauce while the pasta is boiling (it’s best with spaghetti).
Sauté an onion finely chopped in a big pan, add some capers and anchovies and cook at medium heat for a couple of minutes. When the pasta is almost cooked (AL DENTE!) add at the sauce some pitted olives and cherry tomatoes, both cutted in halves. Drain the pasta and pour it into the sauce. Mix them, adding some extra virgin olive oil and some breadcrumbs. When you serve it add some fresh basil.
