At request of one of our followers, here is the recipe of the Nutella rolls!
- 6 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 3 tbsp corn starch
- 3 eggs
- vanilla extract
Combine sugar, flour, baking powder, a few drops of vanilla extract, the corn starch, a pinch of salt, the eggs and 3 tbsp of water. Mix them all together until you get something moderately liquid. Then pour it as a thin and homogeneous layer into a rectangular pan covered with parchment paper.
Bake to 395 F for about 7 minutes (until it gets brown).
Take it out of the pan and place it on a dish towel (without the parchment paper) and use the towel to roll the thin layer. Let it rest for at least an hour at room temperature.
When it’s cold, unroll it, put a layer of Nutella and roll it again.
Keep in the fridge covered into plastic food wrap.
